Framebuilding

The process starts with getting to know you, you’re riding style and other personal interests. From there we take your measurements and start designing the perfect bike for you.

Once we’ve defined all the little details and selected the tubes we’re going to use, we start the design process. Once we have a concept that meets all of your needs, we start building!

Fillet brazed or lugged, and constructed using the highest quality tubes available. From there we add all the modifications that will create the exact bike that’s best for you. See list below.

The process starts with a $500 deposit, This will hold your place in the build queue.. From there, once the design is complete and you’ve signed off on the concept, another payment will get us rolling into the fabrication process, and a final payment is due upon completion. Always check with me about lead times before dropping a deposit.

Finishing

All frames go through an inner coating process with frame saver before delivery.

Rawdog - This is just a clear coat over a raw frame. I don’t suggest it, but it’s your life. -$80

Rattlecan - This is done in open air with the finest quality spray cans I can find!

-$150 - this price changes depending on how intricate the design is and how many colors are needed.

Powder coating - This process is outsourced to my local coating professionals- $280 +/-

Wet paint - For the most stunning finished custom bicycle. This option can be outsourced to one of many bicycle finishing companies. Lead times and pricing is strictly left up to them.

Frame repair and modification

Sleepcycles offers all kinds of frame services. This is kind of a side hustle, mostly because I know there aren’t many options locally for this kind of work. This does take a back seat to frame production. Pricing is dictated by the job. I do understand your bicycle is important to you, so I will do my best to get it in and out as my schedule allows.

Whether it’s adding disc brakes, replacing a top tube or dropouts, or just aligning a bent frame. I’m happy yo assess your situation.
